Pet of the Month

Sunny - January Pet of the Month - returning from a walk. She's a happy girl!

This blonde beauty is 3-year-old Sunny, a Collie/Golden Retriever Mix.  Sunny lives in Spring Hill.  Her family includes her dad and mom, a dog-sister named Ginger, and 3 kitty siblings. Sunny’s favorite toys are her bird toy and Kong.  Her favorite activities are running and play tug-o-war with Ginger.

Sunny is a well-behaved and smart girl.  She obeys the following commands for her mom and dad:  sit, go potty, no, and come here.  Sunny also walked nice on leash for me and did a great “sit-wait” at doors.  She LOVES her walks!  Couple things that Sunny doesn’t like are rain and wet grass.  She doesn’t like getting her paws cold and wet.  She will conduct her business quickly and clearly indicate that she wants to return to her cozy home.

I found out that Sunny LOVES posing for pictures.  In fact, she loves it so much that she tends to block the camera when I point it at one of the other furry family members.  She was more than happy to give me as many pictures as I wanted to snap of her.   For example -
